Barbro Sprinchorn, silk and linen tapestry, signed and dated 1964

BARBRO SPRINCHORN (1929-1973) was a Swedish textile artist who was known for her vivid and poetic tapestries and embroideries, such as this dream-like landscape of bright pink and purple flowers and foliage. This piece has a stitched label on the reverse which is signed and dated by the artist.
